Q- What is Clay Day?
A - Clay Day is a social day for friends who dont get the chance to see each other as regularly as they once did. It gives us a chance to catch up on what everyone is up to as well as discuss philosophical ideas and debate world politics. It also allows us to bond over a round of golf whilst having a few relaxing drinks whilst cruising along in our buggies.
Q- When is Clay Day?
A - Clay day is held on the last Sunday before Christmas each year. If you are unsure of the date please ask Rutt.
Q- Where did the name Clay Day come from?
A - A long winded story but the basic's are that whilst discussing the upcoming and then un named golf day (over a ew drinks ) we decided it would be played on the last Sunday before Christmas every year. I believe it was Gav who coined the term Clay Day proclaiming that having it on the last Sunday in December was set in Clay - I think he meant set in stone but the name stuck, and so did the yearly game.
Q- What does the NFP on the logo mean?
A - The Acronym NFP simply stands for No Fun Police. If that's not clear then your on your own.
